Helping to empower K-12 teachers to teach math in a way that builds students' mathematical identity, mindset, and agency.
ABOUT DENISE
Denise Goldin-Dubois has just finished her 30th year as an educator, teaching and supporting secondary mathematics. For the past 7 years, she has been a STEM coach, working with up to 85 secondary math teachers from around her district. In this role, she has worked with math educators as they delve into their teaching practices to intentionally plan for student thinking. In addition to her role as coach, Denise has had the opportunity to plan for thinking where the rubber meets the road, in her own co-taught math class, putting her learning into practice every day. Denise believes deeply in giving every student the opportunity to appreciate the beauty of mathematics through rich, rigorous, and relevant mathematical learning experiences.
